Wisdom, WIS in your 'score', represents your character's wisdom and ability to incorporate learning.

Wisdom reflects a character's willpower, insight, and intuition. A character is much more aware of his surroundings with higher wisdom.

Among other things, wisdom affects:

• The number of practices a character gains each time it levels
• The mana a character gains each time it levels, though intelligence affects this much more heavily
• The ability to remove a trap or poison a weapon
• The saving throws versus wands, spells, and staves

Wisdom is the prime attribute of the Druid, Cleric, and Augurer.
